UPLB is top performing school in electrical engineering licensure exam, UPD also achieves 100 percent passing rate

The University of the Philippines Los Baños emerged as the top-performing school in the 2025 Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination, achieving a perfect 100 percent passing rate as all 30 of its examinees succeeded.

Top-performing schools are those that had at least 25 passers and an overall passing rate of at least 80 percent. UP Diliman also posted a 100 percent passing rate, with only 19 examinees passing the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 1,240 out of 3,186 examinees passed the Electrical Engineering Licensure Examination, as released on August 28, 2025.

UP’s Iskolar ng Bayan also stood out individually, with two UP graduates making it to the top 10. Don Jose Fernando Del Rosario of UPLB ranked ninth with a rating of 89.85 percent, while John Laurence Pangilinan Elambayo of UP Diliman placed 10th with 89.80 percent.
