The University of the Philippines celebrated its 265 graduates who were among the topnotchers in last year’s Philippine licensure examinations. The annual Pagkilala sa mga Natatanging Alumni na Nagkamit ng Pinakamatataas na Marka sa Licensure Exam, organized by the Office of Alumni Relations, was held June 5 at the GT-Toyota Asian Center Auditorium, UP Diliman.
In his congratulatory remarks, UP President Angelo Jimenez reiterated the role of UP graduates to serve the people, while praising the topnotchers for being proof positive of UP’s uncompromising adherence to quality. Vice President for Public Affairs Marian Coquia-Regidor closed the program, noting how “diskarte” must have played a part in the topnotchers’ academic achievements and how this attribute could help them in their mission to uplift the human condition.
The dinner reception and program featured performances by the UP Concert Chorus and UP Streetdance Club.
