The Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day Conference 2020 will be held online on October 15-16, 2020. The conference is free of charge. The conference will also be live streamed on the UP Department of History’s and the National Quincentennial Commission of the Philippines’Facebook pages. The 2019 Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day Conference sheds more light on law and order during Spanish times and the present-day implications.
Dr. Eva Cutiongco-dela Paz of UP Manila and Dr. Ricardo T. Jose of UP Diliman have been named 2019 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos for the teacher category. This is the first time that UP had more than one awardee in the same year.
