Metropolitan Manila Development Authority General Manager Nicolas Deloso Torre III paid a courtesy visit to University of the Philippines President Angelo Jimenez Jan. 22 at the latter’s office in UP Diliman to discuss potential collaboration, particularly on traffic management and flood control initiatives in Metro Manila.
In a brief interview, Torre highlighted the importance of MMDA’s vision of working with UP. “MMDA is looking for scientific solutions… empirical data. Many of these are available at UP. Where else can we find the data we are looking for?” he said.
