The UP Office of the President, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) – Office of Student Development Service (OSDS), in partnership with the College of Music, is set to launch a music tutoring program entitled “Hamon ng Himig.” This pioneering initiative aims to not only enhance students’ musical skills but also support their mental health, overall well-being, and holistic development. Recognizing the remarkable ability of music to transcend cultural, linguistic, and social barriers. This project aspires to create a deep emotional resonance and forge connections that go beyond mere words.
Hamon ng Himig will be launched on April 8, 2024, 4:00 p.m. at the Mini Hall, UP College of Music, UP Diliman, Quezon City.
