Amidst the challenging conditions facing the country, UP Diliman expands through development-centered programs and institutes, including the Institute for Small-Scale Industries, the Population Institute, and the Asian Labor Education Center (now the School of Labor and Industrial Relations) in UP Diliman, as well as the Dairy Training and Research Institute in UP Los Baños.
UP College building in Baguio is greenlit for construction
The UP Board of Regents approved the construction of a branch of the College of Liberal Arts on 9.2 hectares of land in Baguio after the destruction of the original building during the War in 1938.
