The third batch of University of the Philippines System Administration employees completed LINANG 1.1: Mga Serye ng Pagsasanay para sa Pagpapaunlad ng Paglilingkod sa Pamantasan at Bayan, a three-day training program facilitated by the UP System Human Resources Development Office held May 14, 15, and 18 at the Institute for Small-Scale Industries, UP Diliman.

 

Assistant Vice President for Administration and UP System HRDO Director Richard Javier served as resource person for the component aimed at improving human relations, Relationship Operations and Sensitivity Enhancement Seminar, on the first day.

 

During the Work Attitude and Value Enhancement Seminar on the second day, Assistant Vice President for Administration (Organizational Development and Operations) Tiffany Adelaine Tan emphasized the cultivation of a shared understanding and application of the distinct vision, mission, and values mandated under the UP Charter of 2008, or Republic Act No. 9500.

 

OVPA Program Development Associate Pepito Dizon highlighted the history, processes, and importance of accomplishing Completed Staff Work as a tool for every employee in rendering the highest quality of public service.

 

UP System HRDO training team members Eloisa Comia and Sabina Valerio assisted the resource persons.

 

Initiated under the leadership of UP President Angelo Jimenez and Vice President for Administration Augustus Resurreccion, LINANG aims to cultivate among employees across the UP System professional excellence, social responsibility, and effective service delivery.

Day 2 – Work Attitude and Value Enhancement Seminar (WAVES) on May 15.
