
The University of the Philippines System Administration passed the Quality Management System Stage 1 audit under the International Organization for Standardization 9001:2015 held Oct. 28 at Quezon Hall, UP Diliman.
The audit covered the provision of administrative, technical, and academic support services to UP’s constituent units, autonomous units, and key stakeholders, as well as management and support processes.


Auditor Mark Ilagan of Technische Überwachungsverein Nord Philippines led the QMS audit team and recommended UPSA for Stage 2.
According to the TNP website, the organization is a member of the German TÜV Nord Group, a technical service provider with worldwide operations. TNP offers certification services under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 22000 and ISO 27000, as well as engineering, calibration, and training through its international market presence and comprehensive services in mobility, systems, energy, and systems engineering.
