UP welcomes Fil-Am delegation from San Diego, California

The University of the Philippines welcomed a delegation of Filipino-American leaders and  advocates from San Diego, California, Feb. 3 at the Executive House, UP Diliman. The group was led by lawyer Audie de Castro, honorary consul of the Philippines in San Diego, California.

 

Seeking venues for Philippine engagement in reconnecting with their Filipino roots, they interacted with university officials led by President Angelo Jimenez, whose message of leadership founded on one’s unique life story earned a standing ovation from the delegates. An open forum facilitated by Professor Emeritus Jose Dalisay Jr. followed.
