The Philippine Korean Studies Symposium (PKSS), since its first organization in 2012, has provided a forum for Korean studies scholars and educators in the Philippines to gain and exchange new knowledge, and share their insights on Korea.
The objectives of PKSS are:
to promote academic research on Korea-related studies by Filipino scholars here and abroad
to strengthen Korean studies as area studies, and
to develop networks with both local and international institutions.
PKSS aims to feature the potential of Korean studies by providing vital information through quality research.
We are inviting scholars working on Korea or Philippine-Korean relations to submit abstracts for this year’s PKSS.
