San Juan Mayor Zamora, UP officials discuss potential partnership

San Juan City Mayor and League of Cities of the Philippines President Francis Zamora met with University of the Philippines President Angelo Jimenez and other UP officials and faculty, Feb. 27 at the Executive House, UP Diliman, to discuss potential collaboration with the UP Resilience Institute and the National Center for Transportation Studies.

A news conference was held after the meeting, where members of the media asked the panel — Jimenez, Zamora, NCTS Director Jun Castro, and UPRI Executive Director Alfredo Mahar Francisco Lagmay — questions on disaster resilience, traffic and transport management, and sustainability initiatives.
