Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the Republic of the Philippines Mounir Anastas paid a courtesy visit to University of the Philippines President Angelo Jimenez, March 11 at Quezon Hall, UP Diliman, to discuss academic and cultural collaboration, including lectures and conferences, and cultural heritage events, such as film screenings and artistic showcases.
Joining Anastas was the embassy’s First Secretary Ziad Bedaiwi. Also present were UP Vice President for Academic Affairs Lorraine Pe-Symaco, Office of International Linkages OIC and Deputy Director Gino Angelo Velasco, Office for Initiatives in Culture and the Arts Director Monica Fides Amada Santos, Assistant VP for Media and Communication Teresa Congjuico; and Assistant Professor Lisa Ito-Tapang, curator of the UP Fine Arts Gallery.
